A mobile court yesterday fined 26 business houses Tk 8,600 in the district town for not hoisting the national flag on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day.

Acting on a complaint that some business houses didn't hoist the national flag, the mobile court, led by Additional District Magistrate Asaduzzaman, conducted the drive and collected the fine from the businesses.

The businessmen were also warned not to make such mistakes in future.
