“Anandamela” is a widely recognised magazine show aired on BTV. Having a run time for many years now, the show has had many celebrities on their stage, as anchors. This Eid will mark the appearance of popular actors Shajal and Nabila on the programme. The duo has previously emceed Star Awards on Rtv four years ago, and thus “Anandamela” will mark the return of the pair on stage together.

“It is a great honour to be chosen as one of the hosts,” said Shajal, “But even happier are the members of my family, as we all eagerly wait for the show every year. I have been invited to host the programme before, but was unable to due to scheduling conflicts.”

There has been a rigorous two-day filming schedule for the programme at BTV's studio. The actors will appear before the audience in various guises, making it a much anticipated show. “The audience will be taken by surprise during the programme,” said Nabila, “and we will do our best to maintain shock value.”
