Mujibur Rahman Dilu hospitalised

Mujibur Rahman Dilu is suffering from multiple medical conditions, and is currently admitted at the Birdem general hospital in the capital. The well-known actor, director, theatre activist, playwright is a Freedom Fighter as well. He is 63.
He has been diagnosed with septicemia (blood poisoning), acute left ventricular (heart) failure, a renal (kidney) stone along with kidney injury. He was admitted early on December 8, and according to doctors will require prolonged hospitalization.
Mujibur Rahman Dilu's most famous TV role was Malu, in the iconic TV drama serial “Shangshaptak”. A popular name in the theatre arena in Bangladesh, he has worked for different theatre troupes. Mujibur Rahman Dilu has adapted, directed and acted in several stage plays. Among the plays adapted and directed by Dilu, “Aami Gadha Bolchhi”, “Janotar Rangoshala”, “Nana Ronger Dinguli” received plaudits from both critics and the audience.
