"I started my journey in the media whimsically"

The familiar TV face, Intekhab Dinar began his career with Nagorik Natya Sampraday where his first performance was in “Ocholayoton”. He came to the spotlight with his first TV play “Gour” and since then he became a popular face in the small screen. The actor faced some rapid-fire questions from The Daily Star recently.
What would you do if you were Baker Bhai (Humayun Ahmed's character from “Kothao Keu Nei”, immortalized by Asaduzzaman Noor) in real life?
Dinar: I would do everything Baker Bhai did on screen. I also portrayed the character on stage. It was really an interesting experience for me.
What's your best stress-buster?
Dinar: Being in good company, and doing daily activities my own way.
Do you ever go to the kitchen market?
Dinar: Ever since I got married, I go there with my spouse.
What would you do if you were mayor of Dhaka for a day?
Dinar: Stop intolerable traffic jam and take initiatives to make a well-planned city.
If you were not an actor, what would you be?
Dinar: Footballer.
Do you get nightmares?
Dinar: I often do; the most common of them is that I'm falling from a great height.
Do you have camera phobia?
Dinar: It has never happened to me. I started my journey in the media rather whimsically.
Have you ever tried to write a love letter to someone?
Dinar: No (laughs).
