After the successful release of “Musafir” last year, director Ashiqur Rahman has a new film in the works. The venture, titled “Operation Agneepath”, will feature A-lister Shakib Khan  and co-star model Suchona Azad in her first major film role. The crew will travel halfway around the world as filming takes them to Australia and Bangkok before wrapping up in Bangladesh.

Suchona Azad is busy preparing for her debut role by taking intensive dance and martial arts lessons. “I ventured into the world of showbiz in the hope of becoming an actor so  I am willing to do whatever it takes to perfect my role,” said the determined artiste.

On his choice of the female lead, director Ashiqur Rahman stated, “Suchona and I go way back, but I never had the opportunity to work with her. She has all the qualities I seek for the character, and her enthusiasm makes her a fast learner.”

Suchona appears as a shrewd hacker who pretends to be an associate of Shakib Khan. The director refuses to share more on the plot, which will film its initial scenes in Sydney, Australia.
