Moushumi-Omar Sani pair up for “Nolok”

Famed Dhallywood couple Omar Sani and Moushumi paired up for the first time in “Dola”, released in 1993. Their on-screen chemistry was well received by audiences, and “Dola” went onto become a big hit in Bangladesh. The couple made numerous appearances in subsequent film ventures, and this time they are playing opposite each other in a new film titled “Nolok.”
Helmed by Rashed Raha, the film also stars Shakib Khan and Bobby.
The mahurat ceremony announcing the news of the film was held in a restaurant at Dhaka yesterday. Commerce Minister Tofayel Ahmed unveiled the film's logo at the event, and the film is expected to begin shooting in India's Hyderabad next month.
“Moushumi and I accept roles if the script appeals to us, and in this case 'Nolok' truly delivers,” said Omar Sani, who also added that he plays a vital role in the film.
“The script is definitely different from everything we have done so far, and I know the audience will find the film beyond their expectations,” added Moushumi.
Omar Sani and Moushumi were seen last on the big screen in “Ami Neta Hobo.” The duo also made an appearance in a tele-film released during Eid this year.
