Morning or Evening?
"What time of the day is it? Afternoon or evening? How long have I been sleeping? Have I slept at all?" The thick, long blue curtains drawn tightly across the window almost touch the floor.

Why are these clothes such solid, unrelenting things?
Who dictated they should be opaque?

You call this tea? Black brew, no sugar, raw milk? Let me tell you how it should be. Put the water in the pan. Add sugar, more than that, more. Then boil it till it gets quite syrupy.
