Anti-corruption body formed in Satkhira


A 10-member Satkhira district Corruption Preventive Committee was formed at a meting held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner yesterday.

The committee is headed by former Satkhira government college principal Prof. Matiur Rahman. Former chief scientific officer of Atomic Eenergy Commission Dr. Matiar Rahman and Satkhira Chemist and Druggist Association President Alhaj Din Ali are its convenor, joint convenor and member secretary respectively.

Other members are former principal Prof. Sheikh Abdul Wadood, district Imam Parishad president Mufti Maulana Abdul Mazed Al Madani, Mujibur Rahman, Eshaque Ali, Murshida Akhtar and student Tanzil Ahmed.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Abdul Aziz presided over the meeting.
