5 JMB men held in Joypurhat

Police arrested five members of outlawed Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) at two villages of Khetlal upazila early yesterday.The arrestees are Monsur Rahman, Mahfuzur, Nuruzzaman, Ishaque Ali and Afzal Hossain. Monsur, Mahfuz and Nuruzzaman were arrested at Uttar Moheshpur village while Isahaque Ali and Afzal Hossain at Telabadul Mridhapara village. Acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers from Khetlal Police Station raided the two villages and arrested the militants who were wanted in various cases.
