Rangamati Dist Council launches stipend for students

The Rangamati Hill District Council (RHDC) has introduced stipends for class four students in the district from the current financial year.A total of 283 students will be given scholarships in 'talent pool' (Tk 600) and 'general category' (Tk 400), RHDC sources said. The number of students who have been selected are 54 in the Sadar upazila, 36 in Baghaichhari, 29 in Kaptai, 16 in Juracchari, 23 in Nariarchar, 16 in Rajostholi, 29 in Longdu, 27 in Barkol, 37 in Kawkhali and 16 in Bilaichhari upazila The programme will in the years ahead, the source said.
