Rawnak Hasan

All the world's a stage. That's the motto of every good actor; versatile actor Rawnak Hasan is no different. His acting career started 18 years ago at the stage. He then gradually shifted to television and also acted in a few films. As an actor, Rawnak believes that in order to achieve complete creative satisfaction, one needs to be ready to experiment with different roles. The talented actor has widened his horizons to include script writing for films and directing television dramas to his credit. The Star caught up with the multifaceted personality to talk about his inspiration, his most significant achievement and much more.

The Beginning
I used to visit Natok Para in Bailey Road regularly, as I loved watching plays, when one day I realised that I was meant to be here, this was my beckoning. That, I guess, was the beginning of my acting dreams.

If You Could Change One Thing about Dhaka
The mentality of Dhakaities. Whether we are literate or not, we tend to disobey every rule that has been made to improve our lives. I wish we could change our self-destructive attitude.

My dream was never confined to any single profession. Be it a footballer or a pilot, I wanted to be everything.
